Nostalgia & History > SB commuter F40 at Mansfield, MA in July of 1997Date: 11/29/24 18:04 SB commuter F40 at Mansfield, MA in July of 1997 Author: HRGXguy On July 5, 1997, I visited my home town of Mansfield, Mass, and got this nice sunny shot of a morning southbound MBTA commuter train as it approached the station. Things have certainly changed here since I started riding the Penn Central trains (vintage NYNH&H passenger cars) into Boston during my Northeastern days.
