SP eastbound on the TP line somewhere in the early 90s. Any guesses?

Tricky question... This appears to be a helper set and there appears to be a fireman in the cab of the far unit.  So which end is "eastbound?"  Pando, maybe? Or down at Minturn?    Once you get over the summit going "east," I think that the larger mountains appear more in the distance and pine trees are more common.

Agreed although I wa guessing somewhere on the Palmdale Cutoff.

The ballast color rules out it being on the Palmdale cutoff.
