Nostalgia & History > Some variety in Wisconsin, March 1999Date: 01/10/25 14:38 Some variety in Wisconsin, March 1999 Author: Guitartrain 1. Looks can be deceiving. Now working for Canadian Pacific, SOO SD40-2s 774 & 770 are on the point of E/B train #500 as they approach the Lakeview Parkway overpass on the C&M Sub. 10:35AM on 3-16-99 in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
2. Wisconsin Central SD45-6635, looking to be in a Morrison-Knudsen paint scheme, is leading train #201. It was built in 9/71 as Seaboard Coast Line 2031. My slide is marked as being E/B on the Chicago Sub. Is that correct? 1:53PM on 3-16-99 in Waukesha, WI. 3. SOO SD40-2-6616 & CP SD40-2-6049 are on the point of W/B CP train #425 (the Ford Fast?). Here, on the Watertown Sub passing the entrance to Mitchell Park East. 2:22PM on 3-16-99 in Brookfield, WI. I also just found a couple of photos of these trains at Duplainville on the Railpictures website.
