2. BNSF EMD SD40-2 1719 built Oct. 1980 as ATSF SD40-2 5151 and seen in Willmar, MN Sept. 7, 2007.  Bill Kuba photo, Iowa Chapter NRHS Collection  This is an ex-CB&Q SD9.

3. BNSF EMD SD40-2 1953 built May 1972 as CS SD40-2 916 and seen in Onalaska, WI Sept. 7, 2007.  Bill Kuba photo, Iowa Chapter NRHS Collection

Image #2 is an ex CB&Q SD9, not an SD40-2.

BN GP28P 1597 was rebuilt from BN GP9 1951, nee-NP 372 (24472, 9/58).  It was never a C&S unit.  Source: http://www.trainweb.org/emdloco/24400.htm

Correct, should be ex-BNSF/BN 6127, nee-CB&Q 325 (18984, 3/54), sold to LTEX 2012.
