SP SD9 consist at Rosenberg

Hanging around Tower 17 when this westbound with all SD9E units passed by.
I didn't see consists like this very often at that time.
Unfortunately the sun was wrong but anyway it is crossing the Santa Fe at the tower.

Three months later at least two of these engines were at the SP Hardy St shops in Houston (posted before).

Very nice! I associate the SD9s so much with the PNW and California that it seems surprising they ventured east. Probably more common than I realized.
