CSX SD60M-8773 (ex Conrail 5543, now BPRR 3889) & SD60M-8768 (ex CR 5528, now LTEX 8768), with CSX CW40-8-7829 are leading W/B train S-409 on track two of CSX's Baltimore Terminal Sub. A few hundred yards ahead, S-409 will enter the Capital Sub at St. Denis. 1:33PM on 4-9-00 in Halethorpe, MD.
2. Other than checking the date of the photo, you'll have to look closely to know that this is a Norfolk Southern train. Still in full Conrail paint, but with a very small NS above the cab number, NS SD70-2560 is leading N/B train 41-T. Two Canadian National units, SD40-2-5376 & SD40-2W-5327 are behind 2560. Also in the engine consist is a former Burlington Northern unit and another former Conrail unit. 12:55PM on 6-5-00 in Inglenook, PA 3. A quartet of Bessemer & Lake Erie SD40T-3s, 904, 907, 901 & 900 (all former SSW/SP SD45T-2s), are S/B approaching East Pearl Street on the Bessemer Sub. 12:55PM on 5-6-00 in Albion, PA.
