RVM-133: Southwestern trio ... @ Hurley NM
Author: valmont

Worth my visits ... first 2 on 4/5/91, 3rd on 4/14/91 ... Hurley NM was the subject of a 'mini-revolt' at the annual WGRF get together when 'masterphots' and I tried to get the votes to pick Hurley for the site of the following years WGRF. Not exactly the kind of location that WGRF would select ...

We did get some votes but not nearly enough to win ; ^ ) I have posted this several times in the past ... a very attractive mini-roster ...

Does anyone have information as to how the Southwestern was sold this SD45?

Thanks!

Santa Fe 1992 Annual shows ATSF 5316 retired March 1990 and sold to Southwestern in August 1990.  Extra 2200 South issue 91 shows Santa Fe selling GP7's 2182, 2211, and SD45 5316 to the new shortline that month.

I still think it was a great idea.  So take that Jimmy H!
