The train is too far back to get an engine number, so the closest ETT location will have to do. I’m thinking since photographer Emil Albrecht was a native of Utah this is most likely a Utah location. But we’ll see...
1. A D&RGW F-led train is dwarfed by snowy mountains on April 6, 1968. The location is Spanish Fork, UT*. Original Ektachrome slide by the late Emil Albrecht, from the late James W. Date: 03/19/25 13:37 Re: Rio Grande F for a snowy location, please Author: dan he was up there probably taking pics of the last runs which was apr 10 1968 of the Yampa valley mail trains on that day so along it's route looks like it is near Parshall? but the road is on the wrong side soo throw out my answer unless it has switched alignments
