Actually, CIPS stood for Central Illinois Public Service.  GP9m 1362 (25060, 2/59) was ex-BN 1362, nee-GN 912, later went to the Illinois Power Co. Wood River Station near Alton IL (Source: Jay Reed CGTIL), became ILSX 1362 and is believed extant at Williston ND: https://maps.app.goo.gl/KgydXqP2LnX3WNrt7
