Just to let you know, the photo with this caption:

"NP SD-45 6428 at Pasco in June of 1972"

looks to be actually taken at Yardley in Spokane. The hills don't quite loom over the yard in the same way as the area around Pasco is somewhat flat.

but growing up in the Bay Area I only got to see it occasionally. Thanks for the pics. One minor note, GN 9858 is actually a SDP45, not a SDP40.
