Except for a few forest fires since this one was shot, this is the only one of the scenes you posted that has not changed significantly 0 it's still there.

Some day, may my ashes be sprinkled at Sacred Dancing Waters.

This car is still in Milwaukee on the southeast side, down by Jones Island in a bar complex with a Milwaukee Road FP7, baggage-RPO, 8-6-4 sleeper" Jefferson River" and a diner. There is a for sale sign on the building and I believe that it includes this equipment and some other cars located there. Anyone want to operate a railroad theme bar in Cheesehead Land?

Having grown up on Chicago's North Shore in the seventies and early eighties, your pictures are like going back in time to those great days.

I can almost smell the creosote and feel the weight of my Dad's hand me down Pentax.

THANKS!
