The real California Zephyr

The westbound CZ rolls along the Feather River at Rich Bar in the late 60's. She was in her final years when I took this photo. Even then we knew her days were numbered. The smells of pine trees and breakfast cooking in the diner are now just a memory. Im glad I was able to witness at least the end of this era.

I agree. That was the real CZ, not the Amtrak common LD train .

Only two domes up front?  That would be highly unusual.....I've seen three a few times, but never just two.
