This set of FIVE F units was sitting at the old cramped GM&O facility near downtown Kansas City, MO, in August '74.

Very nice shot, thank you! As you can see by the ICG GP-8 in the background, this was post-GMO/IC merger. As I recall, only one of the F-units got painted into the ICG scheme. Illinois Central before merging with GMO did not have any F-units that I am aware of.
