Family Lines that is.In a power swap between member roads the L&N got some of SCL's less than perfect power, hence the new numbers on these two units.Former SCL Alco C-628 7520 and EMD SDP-35 7043 drift back to their train in Louisville,Ky in August of 1977. Business was good on the L&N back then, and they were taking anything they could to move the freight.

Nice shot CRMac...keep 'em coming...love those old southern railway lines like ACL, SCL etc...before they got gobbled up by the gray borg (CSX)
