Amtrak #3 At Summit

Looking back over my pictures, I found this. While waiting for a slow eastbound at Summit, my partner decided to take a couple of pictures. I think this was a little over 10 years ago. Not sure.

They are some great pics. The Engineer looks like he didnt get enough coffee before the run started. I often wonder if I seen him before someplace?

Looks about right. The flag on the GP50 was a "support our troops" gesture during the first Gulf War, and puts the date somewhere between 1991 and roughly 1993.

I sure would give something to go back to running just about anything with a civilized control stand and minus the Nazi-like computer.
