I remember the same type of diesels working at Lackland AFB, Texas in 1965. Thay were part of our Maintenance and Supply Group. I really wanted to work in the railroad section but I was in the M&S computer section (Univac II), never thought computers would ever go very far. Was I wrong on that one.

I've tried to get some sort of augmentee position with them, but with my job (egress) they can't guarantee that I would be availible when needed. That isn't saying that I don't get plenty of cab and stick time though...
