Thanks for the dose of Santa Fe. High hood GP7's and 9's always looked uncomfortable in the blue and yellow warbonnet. If you think of Leland Knickerbocker's original warbonnet concept, of the locomotive windshield as eyes, the nose as the nose, and the stretched Santa Fe emblem as the mouth, a high nose geep is somewhat like the cartoon character Herman; the nose goes all the way to the top of the head, with no eyes to speak of...
