Would anyone have info on the Kansas, Pittsburgh & Gulf

I understand it ran from Arkansas to Chicago, but my first research hasn't met with much success. Anybody have any sources I could check?

In William D. Edson's comprehensive book of Railroad Names, there is no such animal listed.

However, there's a Kansas City, Pittsburg & Gulf, which was superseded by the KCS in 1900.
