In November '68, a westbound Santa Fe train, with an SD24 leading, was passing a westbound SP train, with an SD 9 leading, at Devore, CA. From a scanned Kodak Instamatic print.

It's almost too much for one lens! Thanks for posting this. I sure miss the SP high nose units. I'm glad that they hung on to them as long as they did.
