Nostalgia & History > Cabooses on the Cal-PDate: 02/01/05 13:45 Cabooses on the Cal-P Author: photobob Back when cabooses ruled the rails we find five bay windows bringing up the rear of a Roseville bound freight. The time was 1961 and the location is the recently daylighted tunnel 2 along the Carquinez Straits near Crockett. The ship in the background was the California Maritime Academys "Golden Bear".
