troop train at Tennessee Pass

Our WW2 troops had it better than do today's troops. Back then they usually got to ride the train all over the country whenever they had to relocate to wherever. Today they fly, and that's not nearly as much fun, is it?
My dad took this from the depot as the train was heading railroad west, about a quarter mile short of the east portal of the TP tunnel. This would have been what we today refer to as the "old" tunnel, the one that supposedly has a 3600, L131 class articulated in it to this very day to help control subsidence. It's also been rumored that there's a C-48 class consolidation in there as well, but that's only a rumor. The new bore wasn't put into service until October 1945, which would have been after this passenger extra movement.
