A B&O and C&O break
Author: CRmac80

Just a little non-western stuff to look at....
B&O GP-35 3558 digs in with WM 3798 on some e/b tonnage in Akron,Ohio during April of 1977.
This location was,and still is,the ruling grade for eastbounds Willard,Ohio to New Castle,Pa.

Same location several months later(Sept '77)we find a C&O SD-35 leading a Chessie mix of power on an eastbound grain train.

Some great action shots of some early Chessie System variety. Interesting number boards on that C&O SD35. Thanks for posting.
