Texas Southern (Same as The Texan?)

Under a stormy San Antonio sky, the USS F7's
are about to undergo the transformation.

And a few months later Texas Southern A-B-A set of F's
depart Dallas Union Terminal, southbound. Unfortunately
I was a stupid kid when I took these and didn't pay any
attention to where this might be going, nor did I bother
to date the photos, plus I was using an Instamatic with
print film. I suppose these were about 1980 at best guess.....

The Texas Limited F-units are former SP units. See...

104 seems to still be in Texas and owned by Trans Texas Rail. Couldn't find much more info than that. 100 and the B-unit are shown to be on the Carrizo Gorge Railway in Campo Ca.
