A July ’52 graduate of EMD thumps over the Santa Fe at Stockton, August ’78. This unit became UP1274 in 1984, and was sold to South East Kansas Railway in 1991. Its last reported number was WAMX 1101.

I do believe that is the way EMD intended an SW9 to look. What a diesel, I have always been facinated by Switchers and Geeps. WP is no exception.
