Akron,Ohio, October of 1978, and one could still find lots of this kind of stuff running around on the Chessie System. Even with it's less than pristine paint she's still a looker!

Even now you can still catch an Old one that belongs to the Buckingham Branch RR and one that is lettered for the RF&P at Dillwyn Va that is still running everyday in freight service.

Engines such as this could be seen operating on the Chessie/CSX
C&N Divison around Newark Ohio well into the 1980's.

You can see some of her old yellow pinstriping coming through from her original paint scheme! I saw a few like that in the 1980's!
