Here's a video clip of a snake, not a rattler. If it were I would have been taking
Curt to the hospital. Curt jumped 5 ft when he accidentally walked right up to this snake at Caliente at the horseshoe curve.

That looks like a variety of a 'glossy' snake . . Mojave Glossy (?) . . Check online snake links,
see if that's what you think. Excellent video . . you should post that on a nature link or
send it to Gary Nafis ( California herps ). He would definitively ID it for you. 'Dogh

I see by it's low slither, and forked tongue, it is either a Politician, Lawyer, or Car Salesman.
