Amtrak Passenger Special through Mendota

They say lightning does not strike the same place twice, but on my annual pilgrimage (from the UK) to Rochelle I was tipped off to the private car special scheduled to pass through Mendota. Mendota was a nice surprise with a lovely museum and enthusiastic guide.
