Railfan Gaming > Eastbound Intermodal on Stevens Pass Part 1

I ran this Z-SSECHC9-26A over Stevens Pass, and decided to take some "photos" white it crosses the Foss River Bridge. Speed stayed in the 15mph range while climbing the grade. Enjoy the photos.

One thing I calculated is that a train requires 1.8755497kw / US ton to make it over Stevens Pass, at a speed of about 15mph. This is for Microsoft Train Simulator purposes only.

Nice shots, just FYI, there is a seperate forum for MSTS / gaming shots in the Railfan Tech. forum. Thought about running the Scenic Sub myself, now after seeing your shots, I might have to go put a train together and call a crew for Friday morning.

It is interesting in photo 6 that each traction motor is pulling single digit amps. I think you need to set some air before you stall out and slip back. (;<{b>
