Canadian Railroads > Birthday Trip to the Interior

I chose to take my birthday and head up to Ashcroft for a few days to plug some holes in the area east of Walhachin on the CP, as I'm working on collecting footage for a documentary on the area. I stumbled onto CN's business train with their CEO on board, so let's head east!

-Westbound at Matsqui
-A few minutes later, the eastbound business train arrived, though it needed to stop for the bridge over the Fraser to close
-Once the bridge closed, the eastbound headed onto the CP line

-After an agonizingly slow chase along the Fraser with construction along Highway 7, I caught up to it at Yale

-The Eastbound CN is seen from across Kamloops Lake as a Herzog train heads back towards Savona
