Hwy 52, just south of Copetown on the TH&B. These trains also saw leased C&O power and on at least one occasion a C424 and a single TH&B GP7. It's a bike trail now.

I did a short stint with the TH&B 1972 to 1973, had a few trips on the "West Local" to Brantford, it was a night job then, on duty at Aberdeen @2100, a long night. Doug

What's the date of the picture? And when was that line abandoned? Did the traffic dry up, or simply become uneconomical and get picked up by CN after CP pulled out of Brantford?

April 9,1985 was date of photo.

Not sure when the line disappeared but I recall it was partly related to some sort of landslde of the line thru Brantford.
A portion collapsed and the line died not long aftr.

Maybe someone else can elaborate!

I think the landslide happened in 1986. That did in the line with the exception of a short section in Brantford that CN now operates to serve Ingenia (plastics) once a week. As a matter of fact CN 580 took one car to them today, its a regular mid-day Wednesday run. Brantford, many moons ago, was an industrial centre and TH&B hauled car loads of farm machinery among other commodities out of town. Nowadays, most of those industries are gone and "brownfields" are all that remain. The TH&B yard in Brantford is now the site of dentist's office... I cringe every time I drive by it.
