More CP 7009 and 4104
Author: cp1400

As noted by britchie a couple of threads down CP 7009 and CP 4104 were westbound towards Vancouver BC on Monday Nov 5. CP 7009 is a 1958 built Fairbanks Morse H16-66 (originally Aluminum Company of America #001) and CP 4104 is a CLC model CPA16-4 built for CPR in 1954.

I was able to track these units down in the consist of CP train 205 lead by ES44AC #8711. The train arrived in Coquitlam yard shortly after 01:00am on Nov 06. I did the best I could to get a few photos in the dark as these two rare units rolled westbound.

1. 4104 at Arnold BC on CN shared track at 10:24pm.

2. 7009 at Pitt River at 1:02am entering Coquitlam Yard.

Thanks britchie for your earlier post and thanks to the Canadian Trackside Guide for information on these units.

Do we know where they are going? My guess is to the Museum at Squamish? And where are they coming from?

Had been stored at Ogden Shops for years. When I get home I'll dig up shots of them, without that "tag" crap on them.
