Canadian Railroads > More CP 7009 and 4104Date: 11/06/12 02:11 More CP 7009 and 4104 Author: cp1400 As noted by britchie a couple of threads down CP 7009 and CP 4104 were westbound towards Vancouver BC on Monday Nov 5. CP 7009 is a 1958 built Fairbanks Morse H16-66 (originally Aluminum Company of America #001) and CP 4104 is a CLC model CPA16-4 built for CPR in 1954.
I was able to track these units down in the consist of CP train 205 lead by ES44AC #8711. The train arrived in Coquitlam yard shortly after 01:00am on Nov 06. I did the best I could to get a few photos in the dark as these two rare units rolled westbound. 1. 4104 at Arnold BC on CN shared track at 10:24pm. 2. 7009 at Pitt River at 1:02am entering Coquitlam Yard. Thanks britchie for your earlier post and thanks to the Canadian Trackside Guide for information on these units. cp1400 Date: 11/06/12 02:14 Re: More CP 7009 and 4104 Author: cp1400 3. CP 4104 at Pitt River with a north side view and no graffiti.
4. Going away shot at Pitt River. cp1400 Date: 11/06/12 04:10 Re: More CP 7009 and 4104 Author: rschonfelder Do we know where they are going? My guess is to the Museum at Squamish? And where are they coming from?
