CP's Marpole Spur
Author: loleta

Whenever I make a trip to the Vancouver airport, I check out the nearby Marpole Spur on the off chance something is running. It usually isn't: there's very little action left on this branch. But I got lucky on Sunday, finding CP 3001 hauling a few cars westward toward O Yard, where they'll be left for the switch job that works one or two days per week.

Very nice catch Loleta. Glad you caught something on that line.

Nice "rust job" on 3001. Great PR.

BC Hydro (right name?) electric steeple cabs plied this route until 1967 or so.
