Lately on the Squamish Sub.

Here are some recent photos on CN's Squamish Sub., the southern end of the former BC Rail mainline, as we finally experience some Springtime weather.
1. Train 546, 5354 south, at mile 9 in West Vancouver.
2. A couple of cowl units, one from EMD and one from GE, lead 546 south near Westbay.
3. The West Vancouver switch job crosses the Capilano River in West Vancouver as sunset approaches.

I really like #3. The back lighting really works giving the train sort of a glow. Since this is a non-traditional railfan train picture, the branches in the foreground really add depth to the picture. BTW, it's nice to see non-traditional pictures.
