The Wall Street Journal has a follow up article about the ambivalence in the town over the return of oil trains. The current embargo on oil going through the town expires next year, and most expect it will not be renewed. Trains won't be tied down on the hill, and oil trains won't stop in town, the railroad says

The town relies on the railroad. One in six jobs is dependent on the railroad. Fifty businesses shipped 14,000 car loads last year. The town's largest employer may have to move if it doesn't get reliable rail service restored.

For the record the WSJ article says the embargo on oil traffic expires January 2016.
