Canadian Railroads > Canadian ConnectionDate: 07/17/14 12:09 Canadian Connection Author: wabash2800 http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?11,3468161,3468161#msg-3468161
I thought I'd post this here since the story has a Canadian connection, both in that the passenger train originated at Toronto and the brakeman believed to be responsible for the wreck went to Canada to work for the Grand Trunk only to be killed himself in a train wreck 14 years later. I always wanted to get more info on his circumstances in Canada but alas had to finish my Wabash book. Of course, the photo in the book taken from the other direction is much better quality than this newspaper clipping. Victor A.
