Canadian Railroads > EMD 645's and UP Leaders....

On my way home from WCRA meetings up in Squamish, BC I was given the heads up that yesterdays CP 347 was still sitting on the New West Sub at the Douglas Rd. crossing.... I am not sure why but several CP grain trains have passed this particular train en-route to the same location 30min away....

I did not get a shot of the DPU but it was sister UP 5501, not to often do you consecutively numbered units of foreign power around here!

While looking at the DPU and figured it was too tight of a shot I noticed the signals were lined up on the East track to Lynn Creek, I made my way down around the corner and was greeted with a nice EMD lash-up consisting of 2 SD40-2W's and a ex-Oakway SD60, with another CP Rail Grain train.
