Canadian Railroads > Traces of BC Rail on the Squamish Sub.Date: 09/26/14 19:14 Traces of BC Rail on the Squamish Sub. Author: loleta It's all CN now, but...
1. A BC Rail flatcar slowly succumbs to weeds and rust south of Devine. 2. Near the boat launch at Darcy, the signs read "Heritage Park" "Anderson Lake Historical Society and B. C. Railway." Though the scenery remains beautiful, there's not much left of a park, nor of the half dozen little waterside cabins which sag and rot nearby. It would have been a nice destination at one time. Author: hoggerdoug I have been told that years ago there was a railway through there, about two miles long, between the lakes, hence Seton Portage. I've never researched any info about it. Doug
