Canadian Railroads > on this day againDate: 03/01/15 07:00 on this day again Author: hoggerdoug February 28, 2005 a change in pace, did a "Koster Turn" meet & greet. A round trip Williams Lake to Koster and return was a long haul to do "under our hours", 10 hours. Approximately 188 rail miles, work at Williams Lake, then setout and pickup at Exeter both ways made for a long day.
All images taken at Koster siding. The 3607 was one of two 3600's to receive the red, white and blue paint scheme. Most of the others were blue and I thought it looked good on those units. A few had dual citizenship with the obvious Santa Fe heritage and a Canadian number. Thanks for looking. Short train, usually powered by a single RS-18. Date: 03/01/15 08:09 Re: on this day again Author: hoggerdoug m420 Wrote:

Yes, that was the switcher did the mill at Chasm and the odd chore at Lime. At Lime years ago there was a loading facility for copper concentrate and a cement silo as well. There still was until about 2006 a switcher running to the mill at Mile 214. Now the daily freight crew does the switching.
