Sunday Morning Railfanning
Author: SteveTuff

Went out Sunday morning, with a friend to do some railfanning. Started just after 7:30am and I stopped just before noon as I had other stuff to do. Here are some pics of trains we caught around the Burlington area.

The first one is of CP142 at old Guelph Rd, with CEFX 1032 & CP9378, this train also had helpers on the rear, three eco units pushing him up the waterdown hill.

Then caught a few more freights at Bayview, CN 231 reroute, with GTW GP38-2 on it, head end power was a ex CNW Dash 8 standard cab.

More from Sunday

Then we had about 5 trains in about half an hour. CN 550 pulled up to the signal bridge at Snake to wait for CN 421 to go by before they would let it go into Aldershot yard.

Then the best catch of the day CN 422 with two brand new CN ES44AC units and brand new ES44AC Tier 4 GECX 2032, plus ex CPR SW1200RS now painted in the Cando black paint.

After CN422 went by we had a train come off the Dundas with a single CN SD70M-2.

We then headed over to the east end of Adlershot yard at King Rd to get better pictures of the new Tier 4 unit.
