Author: eminence_grise

A tentative agreement between Southern Railway of BC, a Washington Group Company and COPE 7000 has been reached, when ratified it will end a lockout of railway employees which started January 11th of this year.  Details have not been released pending ratification.  Management staff operated the trains during the lockout.

SRY is the former BC Hydro Railway, originally the BC Electric Railway, an interurban and street car line operating in and around Vancouver BC.

Today it is an important switching railway connecting port facilities and major railways in the Vancouver area.
