Zebra striped GP9's trailing and leading

Yesterday afternoon I shot zebra striped CN 4100 class GP9's both trailing and leading in Montreal. The first shot shows CN X394 for Richmond, Qc with ES44DC CN 2313 leading CN 4107. The second shot shows CN 527 with CN 4129 leading an ex-Oakway SD60 (CN 5457).

I wonder what zone the load meters on the GP 9's were in. Tired old girls still soldiering on!!  Doug

The last were delivered in 1960.  55 yeears, a couple of rebuilds and still they carry on. Was there ever a more useful loco than a GP-9?
