Canadian Railroads > A change in signals at LasalleDate: 07/26/15 14:52 A change in signals at Lasalle Author: Mberry As is happening all over North America, newer signals are replacing older searchlight signals. These three photos illustrate the change in Lasalle, Qc, CP's Adirondack sub.
1-On May 24th 2014, CP 608 (a loaded oil train for Albany, NY) is passing a triple searchlight signal just north of the Lasalle Station 2-A couple of weeks ago CP set up but did not activate a new signal gantry. The Dorion Turn is passing both signals on July 21st of this year. 3-Just today I shot CP 550 (same train as 608 but with a new symbol) passing the same location, but the searchlight was torn down just this weekend and the new signals are in place but still being tested. Southbound trains were told to disregard signal indications this afternoon. Michael Berry Date: 07/26/15 14:53 Re: A change in signals at Lasalle Author: Mberry |
