images: 01 3612 power for the day, once again a "no name" unit, although I liked running these units 02 lots of fuel in the tank 03 "motley crew", my Conductor and the Brakeman. They were trying to convince me to get in the cab and "go to work". I had other plans to photograph the soon to arrive 470. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/30/15 07:11 by hoggerdoug. 05 CN 5325 third unit also the DPU consist was three units way back in the train. 06 Conductor Tom Dodd on train 470. Sadly Tom was one of the two trainmen killed 10 months later in the horrific run away and derailment on Kelly Lake Hill. attached link to the TSB report, crew was absolved of any wrong doing and derailment. http://www.tsb.gc.ca/eng/rapports-reports/rail/2006/r06v0136/r06v0136.asp Date: 08/30/15 06:59 Re: on this day, 10 years ago Author: hoggerdoug Date: 08/30/15 07:01 Re: on this day, 10 years ago Author: hoggerdoug last 2 images, thanks for looking. I'm working on my slides and perhaps can post some from "20 or 30 years ago" with two tone green as the slides are done.. Please bare with me. Sadly, on this board there seem to be more views and comments about some of the "newer" units, that to me all seem the same whether they are EMD or GE. At least I try to post stuff that I worked with and experienced during my day to day railroad experiences. Has anybody else done a post this long running?? on this day?? Thanks for your interest and thoughts. Doug Date: 08/30/15 14:40 Re: on this day, 10 years ago Author: gaspeamtrak Nice...:D
