MLW Monday-What are these doing in Calgary?
Author: arwye

In 1971 Canadian Pacific was short of power for their secondary and branch lines, that orders for GP38's and 38-2's would eventually fix. Assigning a small group of RS18's to Alyth was CP's short term solution. These units would occasionally show up in Edmonton, but I could never catch any in action. During a trip that summer to Calgary I was finally able to snag 8755 & 8758 at the north end of the diesel shop.
