Ah, I see in my crystal ball RAILBOX will come to the rescue to carry grain to take up the lack of grain
cars during harvest with heavy cardboard door inserts to hold the grain back.

Might be a little less grain in the car but..........  YES I know the idea is stupid but its easy enough to do
as we did it with rock salt that had no rock waste that went to a certain soup cannery in NJ.

It would be great if they could ship grain in tank cars.  There are hundreds / thousands of brand new, straight to storage cars that fit the bill...A little compressed air and clean them out

There are a large number of frac sand cars, brand new and never used stored in TX.  They were ordered from  MX when shale plays were going great guns.  Hoppers should make decent grain cars.
