Mining activity in Tumbler Ridge is all within about 10 miles of the town. The Brule mine is about 20 miles ESE of Chetwynd and has no rail access. When they were operating, both the Brule and Willow Creek mines shipped from a backtrack at Falls on the Chetwynd Sub. The product was loaded by front-end loaders. |
