Canadian Railroads > Two years ago today - sunrise on the Lac St-Jean SubDate: 09/27/16 08:24 Two years ago today - sunrise on the Lac St-Jean Sub Author: Mberry Two years ago today I got up at about 3 in the morning to head to northern Quebec with a friend to shoot CN 368 and CN 369 on the scenic but lightly trafficked Lac St-Jean Sub.
1-CN 368 is passing the 'Club Arlau' curve on MP 37 of the Lac St-Jean Sub on its way to its destination of Chambord. Power is CN 8918, CN 2239, IC 1011, CN 2670 & CN 8004. This was bout 15 minutes after the sun rose, with the sun not having quite cleared the mountains. 2-The same train is coming out of the sun a few miles further north. 3-Just another few miles further north the train is reflected in a river. Lots of power on this train!
