Canadian Railroads > One Train, One Photo

That's often the way it is down here on the south end of CN's Squamish Sub. The daily turn to Squamish returns to North Vancouver, usually in the morning, and I'll take a brief break from work to go snap a photo. Here are some from the past couple of weeks:
1. The big boys are in charge today as 2972 leads two other ACs southward at Brunswick.
2. CN 2000 leads train 546 southward at mile 9.
3. A pleasant surprise on this day is BC Rail 4601 leading 546 near mile 5.

BCR's seem to be dropping the bottom lights on a few units in recent times.

yeah was just thinking something was missing about the picture, then I read what you said.

You are very talented......wish I had the ability to hunt out such great spots. We have a family home just south of Eastport, Idaho, and the UP (SI) runs through our backyard so we get close to Canadian railroads. We have ventured to Nelson and Crambrook so we are a bit familiar to that area of CP operations. Headed that way for our Thanksgiving get together....do you have any suggestions for us for a solid day trip?

Unfortunately, I know nothing about the Nelson/Cranbrook area. You could post a question in a separate thread and hopefully get a response.
