Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday - CP C424 in OttawaDate: 12/05/16 20:13 MLW Monday - CP C424 in Ottawa Author: feclark CP's daily way freight #85, Montreal to Ottawa via the north shore (Lachute Sub), is close to its destination behind C-424 4205 and RS18 8733, crossing the bridge over the Rideau River at the campus of Carleton University. The heaviest activity was usually in Gatineau; today all that remains is one covered hopper and the van, at 1326 on March 6, 1985. I always thought the proportions of the C-424 were perfect. The shop forces have done their usual devious work and installed the radiator intake grille upside down, to mess with the Multimark.
