Seems like yesterday. I rode No. 1 to Winnipeg and No. 2 back to Toronto. There were as many press on board as passengers. Lots of protests along the way. Of course the next day the same train headed west, just on a different route. Soon after the entire train was re-done including HEP and thankfully you can still ride it today.

Budds along the Bow !  I wonder how many times #2 went by this location without at least one photographer on hand? Very nice perspective. Thanks for the view from the flip side of the coin !
